Unsent love letter

It is a lot.
But because my soul’s old we’re approximately the same age.
Not that it matters in the least because age is just a number and I love you anyway.
Like raindrops on a blue pair of jeans I feel your smile seeping into my mind. And you slowly take over every thought but I’m not sure if you know because I never told you.
Because I’m afraid of what you will say and what you will see.
But fuck what they think – right?
Love is both terrifying and gorgeous like that and it fills me up and cleans me out. You are everything I am not but I love you.

Age be damned.
